"Rose, why don't you show us your trick?" Everyone was clapping as Taffy bowed and took her seat. SWORDS AND SOULS LEAVE ME ALONE FULLIt's why we train and practice, to get better at these things!" The teacher comforted her and told her to try it again, she obliged and healed the dummy to full hp. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to.", she whimpered. She finally got the spell working, but instead of healing, she incinerated the dummy. "Umm, give me a moment, heh.", Taffy nervously blurted out. "That's wonderful, could you please demonstrate on this dummy here?" Taffy stood up and started motioning for an aura spell, but it never came. "The skill I chose to learn was Aura Healing," she said. "Alright, everybody! It's time to show off your new-found powers! Gather round as I will select one person at a time," the teacher shouted while going to the centre of the room.Īfter a few people went up, did a trick and left, the teacher chose Taffy to come up next. "Of course not, Taffy! I actually quite like it," Rose responded back. "Hey Rose! Don'tcha ever get sick o this place?", asked the Kindness behind her. Rose, 12 years then, was training her abilities to heal on an injured dummy, whilst the other Kindness SOULs did the same. It was a late Sunday evening in the local STF (Soul Training Facility). "You're all doing very good!", the teacher exclaimed. "Rose, what took you so long?", the tall masculine figure asked in an aggressive manner, "I. SWORDS AND SOULS LEAVE ME ALONE WINDOWSThe house was a bright white colour, with green tinted windows to suit Rose's preferences, the streets grey and muddy, not at all like her preferences. Rose left the house with the figure, only to be greeted by a few more waiting outside. Finally, action was being taken and parents could sleep easy knowing the threat was dealt with. Children had a strange tendency to walk up the mountain and, before anybody knew, to just vanish. There was a lot of commotion going on outside, with riots that were once much more aggressive, now toned down due to the sudden spark of government interference. She gathered her things into a plastic bag, although shakily, and left the room, not without taking one last glance at the once kind room she called her bedroom. All of a sudden, as she was reminded, the room felt much darker and less tidy. Rose turned off the news and went to their room. "Do we really need to? Can't we just get a pension, ?" sighed Rose, "That isn't how it works, child, I'm afraid," the figure responded. "Ro-Rose? What on earth are you doing, we're being evicted soon, we have to pack our things!" Suddenly, a thin, feminine figure walks into the room, their face blurred. "There has finally been action taken against this mysterious mountain that has been, 'kidnapping children', for quite a long time now, officials have not yet revealed the source of this supposed aura that lures, but that it could be a sign that the monsters are preparing for yet another war," The news anchor said. Ignoring this, she made herself breakfast and watched the news. Just another one of those days, huh? She went downstairs to find, once again, nobody there. She went to the Master Bedroom, only to find nobody there. It was a quiet day, where not even the birds were singing. She got up and made the bed for when nightfall arrives, then walked down the hall. Rose awoke to find herself on a bed in a tidy home, as usual.
